Executive Chef Jerell Lucas
Born and raised in Goshen, NY, Executive Chef Jerell Lucas became interested in the culinary arts in his early 20s. His passion for cooking was ignited by his friend and mentor, Gary Morison. Morison, a phenomenal cook to this day, told him, “Either cook with love or don’t cook at all”, which has become Jerell’s mantra and can be experienced in his food. Lucas worked in a few local restaurants and country clubs early in his career. Eventually, he became a sous chef at the West Hills Country Club, where he worked for four years. In early 2023 Faith and Ron hired Lucas as a sous chef at the Stagecoach Inn; he was appointed Executive Chef in April of 2023. Jerell is a father of three, enjoys time with the family, and coaches his son’s basketball team.

The most comfortable lounge seating allows for a relaxing yet sophisticated dining experience.

In 2022, our lounge underwent a transformation to become the most refined and modern space, making it one of the best dining experiences at the inn, where you can sink into luxurious comfort over a delicious meal.
With amazing light and a view of the South and West lawns, the Solarium is enjoyed year round as a great place for celebrations.
Solarium
The Solarium was originally added to the house in 1917 and fully restored in 2016 when the entire inn went through its latest restoration. Perfect for an intimate dinner or as a private space for a special event.
Elegant outdoor dining and casual lounging space make the Porch a great place to enjoy fine food and drinks.

We recently completely the restoration of the back porch having completely reinstalled the original bluestone patio and adding a roof to the porch to provide an elegant outdoor dining and lounging area.
